Tattoo Removal
Unwanted tattoos may be removed with lasers that take advantages of the difference in color between the skin and the tattoo pigments. When the tattoo pigment absorbs the laser energy, the metallic pigment ruptures, thereby allowing the smaller fragments to be either absorbed by the body or extruded. Not every tattoo is amenable to complete removal, but most will be significantly faded by a course of 3-5 laser treatments.
